Welcome to Creative Resolutions LLC, a trusted source for family and coaching services. Founded in 2013 by Kimberly LaFave, our mission is to help individuals and families navigate challenging times, foster effective communication, resolve conflicts, and promote harmony. We empower clients to make informed decisions and find constructive solutions, ultimately strengthening family bonds.
Our Founder - Kimberly LaFave
Kimberly LaFave, the visionary behind Creative Resolutions, embarked on this journey with a strong background in conflict resolution and a passion for helping others. Her remarkable journey includes:
- Working with couples as a Family Law Mediator since completing her Professional Family Law Mediation Certificate in 2013 through Northern Virginia Mediation Services, a non-profit affiliate of George Mason University’s Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolutions.
- Working with individuals, particularly women in high-conflict parenting environments since 2015, and obtaining her Certified Divorce, Transitions and Recovery training through the Certified Divorce Coach (CDC) program, the only Divorce Coach certification recognized by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and The Professional Standard for Personal Divorce Coaching™.
- Gaining extensive experience in family law in Virginia as a family law paralegal since 2011, where she assists clients to collect information and documentation relevant to their cases, drafts proposals, agreements, pleadings and discovery requests and responses, interviews potential witnesses, manages evidence, and most importantly, providing emotional support to clients throughout this difficult time in their lives.
- Obtaining Advanced Certified Paralegal designations in family law from NALA - The Paralegal Association, where she completed the NALA LEAD program, an elite nine-month program shaping the future of the paralegal profession nationwide.
- Continuing to educate herself in areas related to family law through the completion of over 100 hours of continuing legal education.
